1. The Public Site Sets No Cookies
Browsing videos, categories, tags, actors, photos and articles sets no cookies at all. Every public page is served identically to every visitor so it can be cached at the edge, which is also why no tracking or advertising cookie is set while you browse.
2. Account Cookie
One cookie is set only after you log in. It is limited to the account API paths, marked Secure and HttpOnly, and exists solely to keep you signed in. Logging out removes it.
3. Local Storage Instead of Cookies
Preferences such as your theme choice, your recent searches, your anonymous viewer token and your age confirmation are stored in your own browser's local storage. They are never sent to us as cookies and clearing your browser data removes them.
4. Third Parties
Advertising creatives and embedded players from other sites may set their own cookies once you interact with them. Those cookies are governed by the policies of those companies, not by this one.
5. Your Control
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the account cookie will prevent you from staying signed in, but all public browsing continues to work.
